Background and Research Interests:

Ivan Tomanovic was born in 1986. in Belgrade. From the 2010. he is employed in "Vinca" Institute of Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade as a researher. He got his high school diploma in 2005. in Zemun Gymnasium. At the Faculty of mechanical engineering in Belgrade he got his B Sc degree in 2008. and M Sc degree in 2010. At the same faculty he successfully defended Ph D thesis "Моделирање процеса одсумпоравања гасова уношењем спрашеног сорбента у ложиште енергетског котла на угљени прах (Modelling of flue gas desulfurization process by sorbent injection into the pulverized coal-fired utility boiler furnace, in Serbian)" in 2017.

His areas of scientific interest cover modeling and simulation of combustion processes in steam boiler furnaces, and pollutatnt formation and emission from them together with their ecological aspects.

Publishing:

Ivan has published over 18 papers in recognized scientific journals, as well as 29 papers printed ininternational conferences proceedigns. His works have been cited over 181 times. (source: Scopus).

Reviewer for a number of international scientific journals indexed in WoS and Scopus journal databases, such as: Energy & Fuels, Applied Thermal Engineering, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Applied Energy, Thermal Science, Journal of Central South University, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy, ACS Omega. In 2018 he recieved [Certifiate of Reviewing] from the Applied Thermal Engineering journal in recognition of the review made for the journal, as well as the [Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing] in recognition of the contributions made to the quality of the journal.
